Liz Moore is an acclaimed American novelist and screenwriter known for blending literary fiction with gripping, character-driven mysteries. She is the bestselling author of Long Bright River and The God of the Woods, as well as Heft and The Unseen World. A recipient of the Rome Prize in Literature, Moore earned her MFA from Hunter College and also co-created the television adaptation of Long Bright River. She lives in Philadelphia and is a professor and director of the MFA program in Creative Writing at Temple University.
