Before becoming a full-time writer, she spent eight years as a flight attendant, including working for a professional hockey team—experience that helped inspire her debut novel, Mile High. Her books, including The Right Move, Caught Up, Play Along, and In Her Own League, are known for their humor, chemistry, and emotionally healthy relationships. Originally from Northern California, Tomforde grew up in a sports-loving family as the youngest of five children.
