Originally from Seattle, she worked as a bookseller before moving to the United Kingdom, where she earned both a master’s degree and a PhD. She is best known for the Castle Knoll Files series, beginning with How to Solve Your Own Murder (2024), followed by How to Seal Your Own Fate (2025) and How to Cheat Your Own Death (2026). Perrin lives in Surrey, England, with her family and enjoys visiting vintage bookstores and collecting plants.
