About Spill the Plot

Hi, I’m Linda — lifelong reader, spoiler-lover, thriller addict, and the person behind Spill the Plot.

I read a lot of books. So many, in fact, that I have a slightly ridiculous problem: I forget them.

I started my own blog, SpoiledBooks years ago to keep track of what I read and writing down what happened. SpoiledBooks was really just for me at first.

Then people started finding it. And reading it. A lot more people than I ever expected.

That’s when I started thinking about creating something beyond a blog. I wanted a site where people could actually look up a book and find what they wanted to know — what happened, how it ended, who everyone was, what they might have missed, or whatever else brought them there.

And that’s how Spill the Plot came about.

This site is for:

But Spill the Plot isn't meant to replace the book.

These guides are intended to be companions to the stories themselves — a way to remember them, revisit them, understand them, and talk about them.

A summary can remind you what happened, but it can't recreate an author's writing, the experience of getting to know the characters, or the feeling of watching a great story unfold for the first time.

The stories belong to the authors who created them, and supporting those authors matters. If a book you discover here interests you, please consider buying a copy, borrowing it from your local library, or listening through an authorized audiobook service.

I do my best to make Spill the Plot as accurate and useful as possible, but I'm human — and I'm keeping track of an unreasonable number of fictional people at this point. If you spot something I've gotten wrong, please let me know. I want to fix it.

So whether you're here because you're thinking “I KNOW I read this…but what happened?”, you're preparing for the sequel, you're confused about the ending, or you simply can't resist a spoiler…

Welcome to Spill the Plot. Let's go spill something!
