Laura Dave is an American novelist and screenwriter best known for her #1 New York Times bestselling mystery-thriller The Last Thing He Told Me, winner of the 2021 Goodreads Choice Award for Mystery & Thriller and the basis for the Apple TV+ series she co-created with her husband, screenwriter Josh Singer. Born in New York City and raised in Scarsdale, she studied English at the University of Pennsylvania before earning an MFA from the University of Virginia. Her other novels include Eight Hundred Grapes, Hello, Sunshine, The First Husband, and The Divorce Party. Dave lives in Los Angeles with Singer and their family.
