Lily King is a New York Times bestselling American novelist and short story writer known for emotionally nuanced fiction about love, family, loss, and the creative life. Born in 1963 and raised in Massachusetts, she studied English literature at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned an M.A. in creative writing from Syracuse University.
