Dr. Kelly Anderson is a Canadian family physician, medical executive, and novelist whose debut novel, The Wild Beneath, was published in 2026 and selected as a Reese’s Book Club pick. She spent 15 years practicing medicine at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto and later became Chief Medical Officer at Felix Health. Anderson also founded Understory, a nonprofit that uses writing to support female physicians, and completed the BookEnds Novel Fellowship in 2022. Raised partly along the coast of British Columbia, she now lives in rural Guelph, Ontario, with her husband and two sons.
