Ellery Adams is the pen name of Jennifer Stanley, a New York Times and USA Today bestselling American author known for her cozy mysteries. A native New Yorker who grew up near the Long Island Sound, she held a variety of jobs—including teaching, catering, retail, and technical writing—before becoming a full-time novelist. Now based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Adams has written more than 40 novels, including the popular Secret, Book & Scone Society, Book Retreat Mysteries, Books by the Bay Mysteries, and Charmed Pie Shoppe Mysteries series.
