Caro Claire Burke is an American novelist, cultural critic, and podcast host. Before publishing fiction, she worked as an editor and wrote cultural commentary on topics including politics, media, and internet culture. She also built a large online following for her analysis of the “tradwife” movement and co-hosts the podcast Diabolical Lies.
Burke holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from the Bennington Writing Seminars. She lives with her husband, architect Riley Haakon Strand.
Her debut novel, Yesteryear, is a satirical psychological thriller inspired in part by her observations of online influencer culture.
