Elizabeth Arnott is an award-winning British journalist, travel writer, and novelist who also publishes historical fiction under the pen name Lizzie Pook. Her journalism has appeared in publications including The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Condé Nast Traveller, and National Geographic, with assignments taking her from the Himalayas to Greenland. As Elizabeth Arnott, she writes crime and psychological thrillers, including The Secret Lives of Murderers’ Wives, a 1960s-set thriller inspired in part by her university dissertation on serial killers. She lives in London with her husband and daughter.
