Jason Rekulak is an American bestselling author and former book publisher best known for the thrillers Hidden Pictures and The Last One at the Wedding. Before becoming a full-time novelist, he spent nearly two decades at Philadelphia-based Quirk Books, where he helped acquire and edit major bestsellers including Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. His writing career began with The Impossible Fortress in 2017, followed by the Goodreads Choice Award–winning Hidden Pictures in 2022 and The Last One at the Wedding in 2024. Rekulak lives in Philadelphia with his family.
