About Kristin Harmel

Kristin Harmel (born May 4, 1979) is a New York Times bestselling American author known for historical and women’s fiction, particularly novels set during World War II. A former journalist who began her professional writing career as a teenager, she is the author of The Book of Lost Names, The Forest of Vanishing Stars, The Paris Daughter, and The Sweetness of Forgetting. Her novels have been translated into more than 35 languages, reaching an international readership. Harmel is also a co-founder and co-host of Friends & Fiction, an online literary community and podcast, and lives in Orlando, Florida.
