Blake Crouch (born October 15, 1978) is an American bestselling author and screenwriter known for fast-paced, high-concept science fiction thrillers. His best-known works include Dark Matter, Recursion, Upgrade, and the Wayward Pines trilogy, which explore ideas such as alternate realities, memory, identity, and the consequences of emerging technology. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Crouch has also expanded into television, including co-creating, writing, and executive producing the Apple TV+ adaptation of Dark Matter. His novels are especially known for combining mind-bending scientific concepts with suspenseful, emotionally driven storytelling.
